Aha. Another children's birthday party. They are fun but tiring and always a worry with other people's children there. Fun had by all children and DD was very happy. The beautiful old boat swing in the garden was a huge hit again. Funny that thing must be 40 years old (the frame was the previous inhabitant's great uncle's bedsted!).
Hair was being a pain - I am going through an odd phase - I am getting itchy scalp again despite trying the T-gel again and ACV. It could be the combination of the two or the fact I had settled it and then I switched back due to slight itchies. I am on the Miconazole (momistat) bandwagon again. It helps the itchies and I have no idea if it speeds up growth or not. I am also thinking of trying Rooibos as I drink rather a lot of rooibos tea.
As I have said before, I am not sure about things that are meant to speed up growth as you need to have a very accurate picture of what your hair growth is like at all times of the year - and this takes more than one years worth of data. Some people are prepared to go to , what I view as quite extreme lengths, to gain a faster growth rate - such as using large quantities of Biotin.
I did a quick water only rinse/wash on the sides last night so they will last an extra day. I think I am paranoid about having greasy looking hair. I really need to look more closely.
Every time I log onto the internet I check quattro's etsy store in pure desperation. Nothing yet. I am so disappointed. Come on. I actually have the money to spend.

#2 Clearly overkeen
Clearly overkeen posting two entries in one day.
Bad hair fluff day. Nearly broke a ketylo shoving into a tight bun. Thank goodness I didn't. They are my favourite acrylic sticks / up there with Lady Idun.
On the hair front I am desperate for some topped Quattro Sticks - but he has no such pairs listed and I have been stalking for such a long time! I am considering a Grahtoe fork and now a Metal comb/fork thing. I must remember I am buying a rowan stick with bat topper! woohoo
Toy cakes missing: 3
Preschool jumpers missing :3
Cupboards cleared out:2
Bags of medicine (out of date/no longer needed) binned: 2
Mess behind freezer left for husband to clear up:1
Olympic tickets gained: 0 so far

#1 Well, we all have to start somewhere
After tomorrow, I will have time to start my new life.
It's a long story but I won't be going back to work this September but my job will be held open until Sept 2012. For a lot of reasons I am not sure about that.
I have had my three amazing children. Whilst I would like one more, the time for that is at least a year off - if ever.
So today I stand in my shoes and look to the future - to the possibilities it holds, to the life I would like to have, to the things I could try, to the way I want to live. I have the chance and the time (children permitting of course) to try and change things.
My husband made by day yesterday - he thinks he is getting an ipad from work as a sort of reward and has offered it to me. Wow. What a way to start.
A summary of the day so far:
Time out of bed 5:55am GMT
No of Olympic tickets applied for: 6
No of Olympic tickets obtained ???? Maybe none
Useful tasks accomplished: dog walked, 40 fairy cakes and 20 petit four cakes baked
New life time invested: 20 mins on telephone to recruitment consultant
Rubbish/clutter sorted out: None!
Bat interest: Nil
